My latency dropped from 180-200ms to 22ms. I strongly suggest everyone to take these steps. To quote Nethercake after I made him try it out aswell:

[G][Nethercake]: 25ms
[G][Nethercake]: holy shit
[G][Nethercake]: everything feels instant again

Code:
1) Determine your IP (run, cmd and in cmd window type ipconfig)
2) Run Regedit (from run box)
3) Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters\Interfaces
4) Determine which interface is for your IP. The correct interface will have a DhcpIPAddress set to your current IP.
5) Right-click on the interface and select New->DWORD
6) Set the name to TcpAckFrequency (case sensitive)
7) Set to a decimal value of "1"

Additional tweaking:
Code:

1) Regedit --> HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSMQ\Parameters
2) Right-Click in the right hand panel and add a new DWORD value, name it TCPNoDelay, then right click it and click Modify and set a value of 1.

These changes require a reboot to take effect.

Any idea how to revert the change in case some downsides show up?

EDIT: Nevermind, I guess deleting the value or using system restore is fine.

Using the default frequency that was set there before you switch it to 1 is 100% revert.
In some cases, as many PC's don't have the value set for some reason, the default would be 2 (enables Nagle's Algorhitm). Simply deleting the key might not revert it in that case.
The only downside of this change would be if you own a very fast connection and download _large_ files over another fast connection. Not talking slow 1MB/sec here thought. ;P

And it Continues. Razz Theres another value to tweak aswell, the TCP No-Delay. It ensures that your computer isn't delaying the packets when they are arriving aswell, tested it and now my ~23MS is jumping between 19 and 23. Not a biggie but still Smile

1) Regedit --> HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSMQ\Parameters
2) Right-Click in the right hand panel and add a new DWORD value, name it TCPNoDelay, then right click it and click Modify and set a value of 1.

I one day wanted to try, but after reading the first things I gave up. I'm hardcore with lag! (like 100 ms... :'))
